Who can enroll?

DBCOPA’s inaugural program serves students ages 10–18. Enrollment is limited to 50 students.

When and where do classes begin?

The inaugural weekend program begins January 16, 2027, in Great Neck, New York. Enrolled families will receive the exact location and arrival instructions.

What are the weekend class hours?

Saturday classes run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sunday classes run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

What will students study?

Students receive multidisciplinary training in dance, acting, vocal performance, musical theatre, and etiquette, with scheduled guest-artist workshops.

How does first-come, first-served enrollment work?

Families submit the registration form, then receive separate instructions to pay the $120 enrollment fee. A place is secured only after both the completed registration and enrollment fee have been received, while space remains among the 50 available places. Submitting the form alone does not reserve a place.

What does the $120 enrollment fee include?

The one-time $120 enrollment fee includes the official DBCOPA uniform, lapa, and student notebook. Families provide uniform and lapa sizing information on the registration form.

Do families purchase dance shoes?

Yes. Required jazz shoes and any other specified dance footwear are purchased separately by families from Capezio or another dancewear shop.

How much is tuition?

January–August 2027 tuition is $800 per month for eight months ($6,400), plus the one-time $120 enrollment fee, for a monthly-plan total of $6,520. Alternatively, families may pay $6,500 in full, including the $120 enrollment fee. Any enrollment fee already paid counts toward that $6,500 total; it is not charged twice.

When is tuition due?

January 2027 tuition is due December 15, 2026, with a five-day grace period ending December 20. For the monthly plan, February–August payments are due on the first of each month, with a five-day grace period. For pay-in-full families who have already paid the $120 enrollment fee, the remaining $6,380 is due December 15, 2026.

How do families pay?

After submitting registration, families receive payment instructions separately. The website registration form itself does not collect tuition or the enrollment fee.

Does a registration confirmation email mean a place is reserved?

No. The automatic email confirms receipt of the registration form only. The place is secured when the $120 enrollment fee is also received, subject to availability.

Is there a showcase?

DBCOPA plans a student showcase during its inaugural program. Final timing and venue details will be shared with families when confirmed.
